From my experiences you have essentially a straight through pipe with the possibility of some noise reduction and pitch change, but not much. My kid brother had a similar set on his HDBagger and we explored ways to force some of the exhaust through the packing and reduce the noise and deepen the sound. What we came up with but never built was a plug on a long flat rod that would have been retained by a bolt at the end of the muffler core on the inside. He put the stock muffler back on for now as his dog rides in the trunk and he was woried about the noise bothering her. Also did not have a very good HD sound. The Raask style baffle is about what we had come up with for a solution.
